our story
The story of Yvette and Gérald Valenduc is one of continuous growth and a commitment to innovation.
In 1999, after managing their gourmet restaurant “La Roseraie” in Wemmel since 1985, they seized the opportunity to acquire a neighboring house, formerly a pub called “Le Ridder.” Transformed into an elegant hotel with eight rooms, it opened its doors that same year.
In 2012, they expanded it to thirteen rooms, bringing a modern touch to the Wemmel area.
In 2020, after many years of dedication to their restaurant, they decided to close “La Roseraie” to focus exclusively on the hotel.
Their family-run hotel, characterized by meticulous attention to detail and a warm atmosphere, ensures every guest feels at home. Unlike large chains, they have created a welcoming environment, making their establishment a place of comfort where every stay is a unique experience, earning the loyalty of guests seeking genuine hospitality.
